Scott,
My name is Dan, I met you when you came to AZ for 10thplanet seminar. I was talking to you about possibly moving out to LA, and getting a bartending gig at the Pink Taco. I hope this jogs your memory. I recently found out you are in one of my favorite movies…BLACK AND WHITE, that scene with Tyson and Downey Jr…priceless…long story short..I am drafting a script from the book CAULIFLOWER CHRONICLES….I am working directly with the Author of the book on this project, and it’s in the embrionic stages. IDK if you have heard of it, but the Author, travels to Hilo, and trains at BJ’s academy in hopes of earning his blue belt, along the way he learns more than just Jiu Jitsu, Hawaiin history and views of mainlanders….great book…I feel could be great movie….ROMEO AND JULIET….MEETS THE KARATE KID….IN HAWAII….BUT WAY FKING MORE AWESOME.

Scott,
I have been training in MMA for several years now. They gym I’ve been training in has since switched over to predominately a street survival self-defense system, which isn’t a bad thing for this area. I no longer attend and have began focusing on my true passion, BJJ. I am a true believer in the 10th Planet system and have purchase all the dvd’s and books. I study them as often as I can and have developed the flexibility that’s require for application. The problem is I am from a very small and uneducated area (as far as BJJ goes) and am limited on when and who I can train with. How can I become more efficient and well rounded with dealing with what I have? Any advice will be appreciated please help. I also plan on entering the January 2011 NAGA event in NJ, how do I prepare without partners.

Hey Scott, When is your gym open. We’re huge fans of you and Eddie up here. We just opened a gym up here in Fort Saint John Canada and I have traveled all over trying to learn and compete so I can beter train all my fighters. We fight for KOTC Canada, But I would love to set up a visit to your fine gym with a cool tourny. I know how busy you must be so no big deal if I don’t hear back, I understand.
